Prof. Wang joined the MIT faculty in 2007 and is presently an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering. Recent recipient of the 2012 Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Award, Prof. Wang investigates heat and mass transport processes at the micro- and nano-scales. Her group uses and develops state-of-the art micro- and nano-electromechanical systems (MEMS/NEMS), novel optical diagnostics, new nanostructured materials, and novel engineered structures to create innovative solutions in thermal management, energy use, water desalination, and biological systems.
