What is MARC?

The MTL Annual Research Conference, or MARC, is an annual conference celebrating the research achievements of students and staff using MTL’s facilities in their varied electronics and materials research. This event encourages interaction among MTL students, faculty, and industry partners. MARC2015 will be the 11th year of this student-led conference. The student reviews/MARC have been held at various locations through the years, from the MIT Endicott House to the Omni Mount Washington Resort in New Hampshire.

Where is MARC?

This year, MARC will be held at the Marriott Hotel in Quincy, MA.

Who can present their work at MARC?

All grad students, postdocs, visiting scientists, and staff working within MTL, or whose advisers are MTL core or affiliate members, are invited (and encouraged) to submit work to be presented at the conference.

Does MARC cost anything? How do I sign up?

MARC2015 is free, and abstract submission/ registration will be open to all grad students, postdocs, visiting scientists, faculty, and staff whose advisors are MTL core or affiliate members or working within MTL. The call for abstracts is open from October 9-31, 2014, registration will open at a later date.
